A Journey Back to Balance

The process on your first visit.

During your first session, we’ll take time to understand what you’re feeling.
When did your symptoms begin? What makes them better or worse? How has your body responded to stress, injury, or trauma over time?

You’ll fill out a brief intake form, and together we’ll explore your goals for healing. As your body begins to change and respond, your sessions will evolve to meet its new needs — always guided by awareness and intuition.

The body

We’ll begin by looking at your body objectively — noticing areas of imbalance and tension. Where do you hold stress? What movements feel limited or restricted?

Through the John F. Barnes Myofascial Release Approach®, we’ll identify how your fascia — the connective web that links every part of you — may be contributing to these patterns. You’ll leave with a new understanding of how your body moves, and how everything is connected.

The mind

Your thoughts and emotions play a vital role in how your body heals. Notice what your mind does when discomfort arises. What story do you tell yourself about your pain?

Myofascial Release encourages a new way of thinking — one that replaces judgment with curiosity. As awareness grows, the body begins to respond differently, creating space for true healing.

Beyond

Healing extends beyond the physical. You may experience sensations of lightness, warmth, or even floating — signs of the body releasing deeply held tension. These states often bring peace, clarity, and a greater sense of connection to something beyond the body itself.

Through Myofascial Release, the body, mind, and spirit come together in balance — guiding you back to your natural state of wholeness.
